How to get involved

Rev. Barry Odom

Hello Church!

Thank you for welcoming me & my family on Easter Sunday as your interim Pastor! All of you were very gracious and it was a good day, I am grateful to have been in the room when Pastor Jim wrapped up 51 years of ministry. I know all of this happened pretty fast for all of us but from the very beginning it seemed like I was a small part of a huge epic story that now includes myself & each one of you.

I am excited about the things I hear about you as well as the possibilities of what could come.

I think it is important that we get to know each other. I have already shared pizza with one family… in keeping with Biblical tradition, right?

I think a way for all of you to get to know me better is for me to share some of the scripture that has guided my life and shaped who I am today.

So… over the next four Sundays, I will teach from those four passages and maybe you’ll get a sense of what makes me tick but more importantly, God may speak to me and each of you about who we are to become.

I look forward to us being family.

Peace & Courage,

Barry
